Project of a non-profit organization within a public hospital, to offer well-being spaces for patients and caregivers, through culture and art.
The Marisa Monte Imaginary Space is a project by Associação Portas that offers a coexistence environment in a hospital, with a library for adults and children, as well as artistic and cultural activities. The objective is to create a captivating, human and welcoming atmosphere, making the hospital experience more pleasant for patients, caregivers and employees.
The proposal is to use art, music, visual arts and literature as therapeutic support to stimulate imagination and well-being. This neurohumoral and sensory stimulation aims to improve the emotional state, alleviate symptoms and reduce patients’ suffering. The project has proven to be a powerful tool for alleviating physical, psychological and emotional ailments, providing a lighter and more welcoming environment within the routine of a public health institution.
The client’s main objectives were:
